Karen is based in D.C./Northern Virginia and is responsible for asset management for the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Before joining Beacon in 2006, Karen was a Senior Asset Manager for Grosvenor USA in Washington, D.C., and before that was a Vice President of Asset Management with LaSalle Investment Management in Baltimore, MD. In these roles, she was responsible for Class A office buildings and shopping centers in the Washington, D.C. area, as well as other major U.S markets. Karen has been involved in commercial property leasing, marketing, and management for 35 years.

She holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the Building Owners & Managers Institute (BOMI). Karen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University.
