53 State Street in Boston was recently featured on 60 Minutes in a segment on healthy buildings. The segment focused on the work of our long-standing partner, Dr. Joe Allen, a leading authority on indoor air quality and healthy buildings. Dr. Allen is the Founder and CEO of 9 Foundations and an Associate Professor at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Together with Dr. Allen and his team, Beacon has implemented an evidence-based Healthy Buildings Program across its portfolio. This program is Beacon’s latest initiative focused on creating best-in-class properties that provide distinctive and healthy places for people to work.
