We recently completed our 13th annual summer associate program.

We had five MBA associates working on projects that included:

• Researching new portfolio management technology, focused on acquisition pipeline management, CAD drawings, and expense analysis.

• Evaluating technology platforms focused on improving the tenant experience through individualized climate control mobile apps, building access control, and streamlining work order requests.

• Developing sustainability projects and initiatives that incorporate tenant engagement strategies to promote energy efficiency, recycling, and general sustainable practices in tenant spaces in Beacon’s properties.

• Analyzing spec suite trends within our markets and potential future applications.  

• Implementing a new technology platform to consolidate and report information to Beacon's investors.

We also had four undergraduate interns working on a range of projects that included:

• Analyzing certain markets and submarkets as potential investment opportunities.

• Identifying the impact of rental rates on land conversion from industrial to office and residential use.
