Nick is based in Boston and is a part of Beacon’s tax department where he’s responsible for the tax structuring and tax planning for Beacon’s various fund vehicles and joint venture platforms. In addition, Nick oversees the tax and REIT compliance processes and his role also includes consulting on REIT matters and developing and executing tax-efficient strategies on behalf of Beacon’s investors.

Prior to joining Beacon, Nick was the Director of Tax at Alcion Ventures, a private equity real estate firm based in Boston. Before his time at Alcion, Nick worked as a Senior Manager in the tax practice at EY where he worked on a variety of privately and publicly held real estate and private equity clients, including Beacon. Nick holds an accounting and finance degree from Boston University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts.
