Ray is responsible for delivering impactful IT solutions, enhancing performance and user experience through the strategic management of Beacon Capital Partners’ technology application portfolio at the enterprise and property levels. He oversees the business case, evaluation, and implementation of new innovative processes and technologies to improve business unit capabilities as well as the maintenance, support, and retirement of existing applications and tools.
Before joining Beacon, Ray worked in business operations for the investment management divisions of State Street Corporation and Alliance Bernstein. In these roles, he assisted portfolio managers, institutional investors, and private clients with subscriptions and redemptions of stocks and fixed-income securities in actively managed funds.
Ray later transitioned to the IT department at State Street Global Advisors. There, he worked in the Business Management & Strategy office of the CTO, where he was responsible for managing the application inventory, evaluating incoming technology, producing technology budget and resource allocation analytics, and creating executive presentations for IT projects. Ray holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Stonehill College.
