Vera is at our Chicago office and is responsible for developing and executing leasing, capital, and operational plans for the CBD portfolio of assets. Prior to joining Beacon, Vera was Vice President, Portfolio Management, for Ameritus where she worked as the head of asset management for office and industrial assets focused on leasing, capital expenditures, operations, and redevelopment. Before her time at Ameritus, Vera was with Equity Commonwealth focused on asset management of a 3+ million square foot portfolio of CBD office and industrial assets located in Illinois, Connecticut, and Washington state. Vera received her Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University and her Master of Science in Real Estate from Roosevelt University. She is also a Licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker.
