Vera is based in Chicago and is responsible for developing and executing leasing, capital, and operational plans for her CBD portfolio of assets. Prior to joining Beacon, Vera was Vice President, Portfolio Management, for Ameritus, where she was the head of asset management overseeing leasing, capital expenditures, operations, and redevelopment for the company’s office and industrial assets . Before her time at Ameritus, Vera worked in asset management at Equity Commonwealth, covering a 3+ million square foot portfolio of CBD office and industrial assets located in Illinois, Indiana, Connecticut, and Washington state.

Vera is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute, Real Estate Finance Forum (REFF) and the Goldie Initiative. Vera received her Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University and her Master of Science in Real Estate from Roosevelt University. She is a Licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and holds an RPA designation from BOMI International.
