    As part of its long-standing commitment to sustainability, Beacon has partnered with The Best Bees Company, a Boston-based full-service beekeeper and leading researcher, to install beehives on the rooftops of most of its buildings. Beacon is pleased to support honey bee research by being one of the first institutional owners to introduce this program on a national level.

    As part of its corporate sustainability efforts, Beacon has installed rooftop organic vegetable gardens. In addition to providing green space in urban locations and producing vegetables that can be shared with the building's tenants, these gardens provide a health benefit to bees and other pollinators.
